Snow in New Hampshire!

Today we left Maine and headed East to New Hampshire and the White Mountains. The weather had gone from T-shirt to hats and gloves and as we climbed higher we were greeted with snow!
Farewell Maine.

Quick stop to look at river, back to car to find hats it's blinking freezing!

Red leaf.

Snow!

Couldn't resist stopping for a quick snowball fight.

Lincoln carpark selfie. We found a supermarket that sold cups of hot clam chowder, delish!

They have fiery trees in NH too.

Strange beasts.

Wa Hey!
Riverside lodge.

White Mountains at sunset, gorgeous.

Closed.

Okay foodies, budget doesn't stretch too far in US so here's tonight's supper.
Econolodge, we like this one. Clean, spacious and pool, jacuzzi and sauna.

The perfect way to end a Sunday. Still can't believe we are doing this, so lucky.

  2. It's fresh Mac n cheese, not the dried stuff, we nearly got that from the Family Dollar store. The lady in there was amazing she made the boys giggle. ' you from the UK? Oh my gosh, I'd love to meet the Queen sister, she's gonna be like her mama and live forever!'
