We drove in snow and rain all the way from Lake George to Syracuse today. Weather was so awful thought we would check out America's second largest mall, Destiny!!!

Only took about 30 minutes to choose a coffee stop!

Once again we seek comfort in fast food. Heid's Frank's and Coney's all round. Mark had the Birch Beer which tasted of the smell of Germolene.  

PS, fruit and yogurt are also being consumed! 

Quechee Gorge

On the move again today leaving Lincoln New Hampshire and driving through beautiful Vermont back to New York State and Lake George. The longest drive yet, over 3 hours so we made afew stops.

We arrived late in the day at Lake George and our motel is less than salubrious. Pizza Jerks delicious food helped to perk us up.

Mount Pemigewasset

A cold morning and we set out with a back pack back pack for a spot of hiking.

Snow in New Hampshire!

Today we left Maine and headed East to New Hampshire and the White Mountains. The weather had gone from T-shirt to hats and gloves and as we climbed higher we were greeted with snow!

Okay foodies, budget doesn't stretch too far in US so here's tonight's supper.

Econolodge, we like this one. Clean, spacious and pool, jacuzzi and sauna.

The perfect way to end a Sunday. Still can't believe we are doing this, so lucky.
