It's hard to believe that today is day 50 of our trip. And to celebrate just a fab day mooching about Monterey!

Bellies full we headed to the Wharf for some wildlife watching.

Even though the weather had turned and Mark and I were pretty chilly boys couldn't resist a paddle. Elliot said this is one of his favourite places so far. We may just hang here a little longer.

What better way to round off the day than with a relaxing swim in the 'indoor' (it's only got half a roof) pool. "Come in mum, it's like a bath."       Freddy, you lie!!

Gorgeous beach. We only drove about 3 hours but amazing difference in climate and landscape. Monterey is beautiful, had a real Latin American feel.

Snow Day

Not much to report today. Weather pretty miserable so we took opportunity to have a pretty chilled day.
