Portland Oregon

Yesterday we said goodbye to Seattle and picked up our second hire car 'Nick Fury' and headed South to Portland Oregon.

On the road again!

Here here!

Grabbing a book, love this idea.
We are so lucky to be welcomed into another home. This time Mark and Robyn let us stay in their beautiful Passive House. It's been wonderful spending time with both of them, such interesting and warm people.

View from Vista House on the historic Columbia River Highway.

Multnomah Falls was spectacular. The boys managed the steep climb and 11 switchbacks to get to the top.

Looking dazed at the Falls.

Cave boy.

Over the top!

Heading back down.

Thanks Mark for being our guide.

Some of the beautiful pieces of glass in the gallery at Bullseye. Our host Mark has his own studio where he creates stained glass  and fused glass. Bullseye is like an art shop and studio for people working with glass.

Ice cream sandwich.

Wow! The beautiful glass gifts we have been given. Made by our very talented host Mark. Thank you, we will treasure them.

  5. How fabulous! You reminded us of parts of our travels! A little book exchange in a hilltop village in Tuscany and a beautiful gallery of glass objects in an amazing Tuscan village overlooking the Med!
