Butterflies and Boogie Boards

Thank you Wendy for baking with the boys and letting us escape for a bit! Much appreciated.

Monarch butterflies near Pismo Beach! There were thousands in clustering  in the trees.

Oceano dunes.

Sand surfing.

Another glorious sunset.

Wendy, our host and tour guide.

Lots to write about in journals today.

  5. What a wonderful family you are! Frank and I enjoyed your visit so much! The boys are so much fun to be with, as are their parents. I was sad to see you go, but thrilled that we had the opportunity to meet you. Just so you know, we went to the Oceano Dunes.
    Your fond friend, Wendy

  8. El and Freddy, you wondered if it might have been a coyote that you saw sitting at the edge of the Oceano Dunes. Yes, it easily could have been a coyote. I have seen many in that area over the past 18 years. And as I think about it, I think that it could have been a dog, but it is even more likely that it was a coyote.

    1. Freddy says 'thank you' and 'miss you'. Think they put it in their journals as a coyote anyway!! Adds to the drama. Xx
