Christmas day

In many ways a very different Christmas for us this year but some things (eating far too much) remained the same.
Boys opened far fewer pressies this year, no bad thing!

Then it was all about sharing food with new friends Courtney and Justin, Vicky and Dennis and Ingrid of course.

Breakfast= French toast with goober and maple syrup ( now we know the US recipe!) Pancakes with bacon and more syrup.

First course, delicious pumpkin soup.

Main, chilli, rice, beans , guacamole, salad and nachos. Yum!

There was pudding, liquor soaked fruit cake, ice cream and cookies. Plus Ingrid's egg night, Justin's Gluwein and a very dodgy bottle of pink fizz that tasted like syrupy perfume.

Between food we had two swims in the river and an extremely long game of Uno.
Happy Christmas family and friends old and new! Xxxx

  3. Merry Christmas Jo, Mark, Elliot and Freddy. Your Christmas day looks wonderful. You must have sent the warm weather our way as Christmas in Banham this year is extremely mild if a bit breezy...we were hoping for snow! ! Have a wonderful day. Love Hayley, Dom, Louis and Joseph x x x x
