Crystal Cascades and Cairns

Here we go again!
First stop today Crystal Cascades Rainforest walks and swimming holes.

It's a pretty overcast day but still hot.
The rainforest is beautiful. We smell the musty scent of possums and flying foxes but don't see any.

The boys take a dip.

We then all become fixated with these ants moving this huge bug up the roots of a tree.
After lunch we head to Cairns Esplanade and the lagoon. Feel like we should start rating these things Outta 10!
This is a brilliant one. Huge and over looking the sea. With a manmade beach too.
Cairns has a real backpacker vibe about it and is bustling on this Easter weekend.
Tides out.
Dead pool was all over Cairns this arvo!
Couldn't resist a cheeky snap, he was pretty polite.
Cloudy, tropical Cairns.
