Kuranda Easter Fun

Today we set off to Kuranda-village in the rainforest for some Easter Fun.
Benny the Clown.
The Egg Drop. Pop an Easter Bunny on a crane with a bucket of 3500 chocolate eggs and one very special golden egg that wins you all sorts of prizes, let them mayhem begin!
Hats in the air as the eggs fly.

Next amazing entertainment from the Pamigirri Aboriginal Dancers.

Then onto Whip Crackin!
Top that with a lady standing on her husband's head whilst they both juggle with fire torches. 'Are you not entertained!'
We head off to explore the markets. Kuranda is not a huge place but it's full of art, craft and gift shops, cafes and wildlife centres.
There's even a Scottish shop in the market.
Back to the eggs. The 3500 egg drop happened four times! Adults and children in the scorching heat fighting over chocolate eggs! Great fun!
Woodland elf statue lady.

Gorgeous views on the twisty road home.

  2. Happy Easter guys. I imagine your Egg Hunt was alot more civilised than the most pit the boys were in. When i say boys, i do mean Mark aswell! He is currently hiding the eggs they grabbed in the garden for the boys to find. Enjoy your long weekend xxx
