Palm Cove and Port Douglas

Sad to be leaving this beautiful house in Redlynch near Cairns.

On such a sunny morning too.
Not far up the coast we stop at Palm Cove. We walk along the tree lined Esplanade, gorgeous restaurants and shops on one side choppy ocean on the other.

Elliot checks out the fish chart.
Whilst continuing along the coast road we all shout 'WOAH!' and Mark turns the car around.
A whole stoney beach has been transformed into a stone stacking wonderland.
Such an amazing sight.

Upfront here's mine and Freddy's modest contribution.
Mark and El work on something much grander but unfortunately it topples before i can get a picture!
Our new digs for five nights.
We head into Port Douglas for supplies and spot this bird. Night heron?
Beautiful Port Douglas. Rain is forecast for the next few days though.

Just enough time for a dip when we get back.
