Kuala Lumpur - Ipoh

This morning we packed up, again, and headed to the Central Train Station in KL for out train North to Ipoh.

Silly selfie.
Goodbye construction!
All packed up.
The train is great. Only a two hour journey.

Ipoh!!
The train station.
Freddy finds an amazing butterfly, unfortunately it's dead.
Ipoh Container Hotel.
We have pod 311 and 312, one up and one down. The pod mainly consists of a bed, there's a little shelf that pulls down, lights, sockets, air con and storage underneath.
The best bit is the slide to get downstairs!

View from our pod.

As a another mega storm rolls in we start a game of Monopoly.
Then venture out into the alleyways in search of food.

We eat delicious Hor Hee, fishball noodle soup,  well, some of us do.
And then waffles, for those who were not that adventurous!

    1. Hey Sheila, glad to hear you are both getting better. Your shed would be great for this. It's such a simple idea too. I'll map out a business plan and get back to you! Glad you spoke to Mum too. Miss you xxxx

    1. The boys love that slide. I started off well thinking 'I'm jolly well going to take the slide everytime!' I'm using the stairs now. Aesthetics may not be big in restaurants but flavours are! We watched the locals using the spoons under their chopsticks for the broth and tried to copy! Xx
