Petronas towers

Today it all about the Petronas Towers.

We arrive hit and sweaty for our 11.15 tour.

First stop is the Skybridge. 170m up on the 41st floor.
Views are fab.

Then it's up to the observation deck on the 86th floor, 370m up!
The Pinnacles themselves are over 70m tall, crazy!

It's a long way down.
We've got our eyes on this pool!
The tours are pretty brief but in small groups which is good.
Boys have a much needed cool off.

We get a Grab to Central market and hit the food court. One of the tastiest meals yet a kind of meatball, fishball, noodle, veggie soup.
Freddy has his eye on a bargain.
Doctor Fish! The strangest thing ever!
I think my feet must be in a bad way!
It was almost unbearable!

Sultan Abdul Samad Building.

The City Gallery was good fun.
We met a family from Southern India.
And watched as people made the wooden crafts and pictures.
We saw the huge city model and watched the light show.

Pooped again we head back to the flat and listen to an almighty thunderstorm.

  1. Gosh what an exhausting day! Quite another aspect to KL. More prosperous and touristy. Looks good. The flesh-eating fish, in Britain, were stopped, for some reason... Either not good for the fish or the feet-owners?! Does it rain a lot btw? Love U guys XXXX

    1. Yep the centre was much more up market Sheila. Construction work going on everywhere though. We have had rain and a thunderstorm most late afternoons/evening. Sean who we rent the flat from said that is common. It often floods too because of such heavy downpours and poor drainage. He also said lots of people get hit by lighting, told us to stay out of the pool in the rain! Love you xxxx
